Wearing Contact While Surfing

Is it OK to wear contact while I surf. I can sort of get along without them but I can definately see the waves, and other surfers, better with them on.

I had a friend wear them but they would just pop out evertime we went out...he just ended up losing them. I don't think your supposed to wear them in the ocean anyway. They do make prescription goggles so I would look into getting a pair of those. One particular brand are called "SeaSpecs".
