Leashes - always have a spare. You know the feeling....wipe out, feel the tug of the leash,..snap...oh shoooot! This tends to happen on really good days.
Wax - Don't be too picky, just always make sure you have an excessive amount lying around. Don't be the guy asking for wax at that local spot only to hear some hotshot say "Gee, I just don't have any". Probably the cheapest of the surfing accessories.
Wall racks - So your boards look cool and don't get crushed by your kids/drunken roomate/idiot friends.

Car racks - Your going to need racks for that longboard. You might even need racks for your shortboard if the minivan is already chock full of kid seats, toys, and camping gear.
Repair kits - Suncure and Quick Stick work fine for fast repairs. Try an actual repair kit for more sturdy, long lasting repairs.
Board bags - So you don't need to use the repair kit as much.
- Deck pads - Got a shortboard? Get some deck pads. Here's a tip, use 3M adhesive to glue it down if it starts coming off the board.
