Gordan and Smith Surfboards
In 1959 Larry Gordon and Floyd Smith began making and shaping surfboard blanks. As surfing popularity grew in the 1960's, Gordan and Smith Surfboards became one of the most popular brands.
Mike Hynson, Rusy Priesendorfer, Mike Eaton, and Larry Mabile are just some of the shapers who worked for G and S. Today the Gordon and Smith surfboard factory is in San Diego and continues to make quality surfboards. Surftech also has many epoxy versions of the G and S shapes.
