Full Wetsuits
Full wetsuits, AKA "fullsuits", cover everything except the head, feet, and hands. The first fullsuit was the O'Neill Supersuit, which came out in 1970. Today O'Neill still makes great fullsuits as well as many other brands. The usual thickness is 2/3mm and 3/4mm, with the thicker rubber around the torso. Most full wetsuits have back zippers, all though some are zipperless and others have front zippers. There is also the back "short zipper" variation. Personally, I find the standard back zipper full wetsuit just fine. I have never been a big fan of the zipperless version, and I have had several. If you have a hard time reaching back to the zip, perhaps the front zipper is the way to go.
