Epoxy Fish Surfboards
Epoxy fish surfboards are wider and thicker than standard shortboards. They have good floatation for their length and have a skatier feel to them. We like them here at surfing-gear, especially in smaller clean longboard waves...when you don't want to longboard.
The epoxy fish surfboard offers even more floation than the traditional (polyester) fish, as well as added strength. If you need another reason consider that they are lighter as well. Get one roughly 6 inches shorter than your standard thruster. Although there are large (over 6.5ft) fish, they start to ride more like a funboard. Don't go too much over 6ft if you want to have the advantages of a fish. Try an epoxy fish surfboard.
