Out of the Box - Childrens Oneill Reactor Full Wetsuit

(Update-Feb 2010: I was so happy with the first Childrens Oneill Reactor that I ordered a second one size 8. I would have also ordered a a size 6 but it was out of stock. Doesn't matter though because the shipping is free from wetsuit warehouse. From the time the order was placed until I received it was four days. I will get the size 6 as soon as it is in stock.)

I got this wetsuit for my 3.5 year old. After the last outing to the beach I decided that all three kids were ready for their first full wetsuits. I bought this one online after shopping around it was at my house in about one week.

It's a size 4 and 3/2 mm thickness. I was a little worried about the sizing but just followed the chart for height and weight..no problem. He is at the lower range so the suit is slightly long for him but it basically fits ok, with room to grow.

One feature I love about this full wetsuit is the ankle zippers. It's not like I need them, but I am a grown up that has been getting in an out of wetsuits for many years. For toddlers and small kids...different story. I liked the spring wetsuits because they are easier on and off, but with the ankle zippers on this suit I had no problem getting him in and out. He seemed warm and happy at the first beach outing with this suit and I plan on getting two more for the other kids.

It does come with a one year warranty and I will hang on to that receipt just in case.
